What did Nina know and when did she know it?

Updated a reader points me towards Sean Gordon's article in the Star Not part of talks, Nina Grewal says.
Nina Grewal told the Star yesterday "nobody approached me, I wasn't part of any negotiations."

Mark from Section fifteen sent us a heads-up this morning on a CBC Story. Nina Grewal is claiming that she was left out of the loop. She knew nothing of the tapes or (perhaps more surprsingly) of the negotiations. Some may be disinclined to believe her. But Gurmant seems to be a secretive fellow, and is it completely unthinkable that his secrecy extended into his own house?

You would think that if he was running a sting, he would have at least informed his wife about the details so to provide some CYA.

Or if one was planning to get your a deal in the senate you would inform your wife about that too.

Hmmmm,... seems the someone is the Grewal household is lieing, maybe both. Lies and secrets don't make for a good foundation in a marriage.

I wonder if Mr. Grewal isn't sleep in the doghouse right now on his stress leave?
