Nina in the tapes (1)

As I said the other day, I'm pulling together the data on Nina's role in the Grewal affair for the FAQ, which is as yet only half-finished.

There are many references to Nina in the tapes. The first of them comes from the last of Grewal’s five phone calls with Sadesh Kalia. Here is the whole transcript of that call:

Now, as it happens, Nina did not join Gurmant and Ujjal for pizza, where it is fairly clear that her future was discussed. That was not because she wasn't invited, however. Either Gurmant did not tell her about the negotiations or she decided to leave them in his hands.

The question for the voters of Fleetwood-Port Kells is whether they want to be represented in parliament by someone who was judged incapable of representing herself either by her husband or by herself or both.
