Edited out: Grewal tries again to score a cabinet position
As we saw yesterday, the newly released tapes clearly show Grewal fishing for a cabinet position for himself and a senate seat for his wife (see here), and being turned down on both. That was at about 1:45 pm on May 17.
On May 18, he gave it another try, as we can see from the new transcripts put up on Grewal's webpage today (see here). Here is the bottom of p. 10 and top of p. 11 of that transcript.
For interest sake, you might be interested in comparing this to p. 9 from the first transcript that was released. Can you spot the difference?
As you can see, in line 6 of the new transcript (released June 6) Grewal wants Murphy to clarify 'if there's any cabinet positions'. In the first transcript, Grewal wants to know whether there are any 'travel solutions'. That difference is fairly significant. This clearly shows Grewal asking for a cabinet position and getting no offer. That is not the story that Grewal wants told and so it is cut.

"Creating a hope" and "breeding a hope"
Are he and Nina having more children?
Welcome, daveberta. That's one difference. (What do we have for our winner, Johnny?) But I had another difference in mind.
I see it - first version has him talking about about travel arrangements, the second version has him instead talking about wanting a cabinet position.
So, either the true original has both, or one or the other, in which case one or the other was spliced in from elsewhere.
That was a fun sentence. That God I know boolean loigc.
...though apparantly, I can't spell.
yeah... and that one... :P
